Where to find Ladyboys in Angeles City Philippines
For many years the Ladyboys of the Philippines were known as Billy boys. This name seems to be going out of vogue and sadly replaced with the very misleading term GAYS. Even Filipina Ladyboys will proudly proclaim they are “Gays”. Maybe the title Billy Boys was not that great but it is better than gay which is for me an entirely different scene. In Thailand the Ladyboys are known as Katoeys in Thai language but there does not seem to be any word in Filipino for them.
There has been a Ladyboy scene in Angeles since the beginning. For many years it was concentrated on Santos Street or blow row as most visitors call it because for years it was the place of short time blowjob bars. The bars with Ladyboys were mostly on the left side but a recent five start hotel redevelopment resulted in them all being demolished and the right side has been reduced by 50%.
With the demise of the left side of Santos street there are no longer any specific bars with Ladyboys to the best of my knowledge. When I last visited Angeles in February 2009 there were still ladyboys walking up and down Santos street and also in Rheel street. Late at night they often work usually in pairs or groups up and down Fields Ave always ready to catch your eye and with the smallest encouragement they will approach you.
Another place to find Ladyboys is Perimeter which is the extension of Fields Ave. There are a couple of places with ladyboys including a comedy cabaret and a jazz live band venue. Again the Ladyboys will approach you if you so much as smile at them so not hard to make contact.
